Victory Family YMCA Addition

With the popularity of the Victory Family YMCA came the need to expand facilities and add programs. Peninsula Metropolitan YMCA, very pleased with Mr. Moberg's design for the initial phase of the Victory Y, selected James River Architects to design the 14,000 sf addition to their facility.

The phase 2 addition includes a 3,400 sf expansion to the existing wellness center, a new 1,350 sf aerobics studio, a 1,000 sf family activity center, and a 2,500 sf teen center with mezzanine. An adjacent suite houses a 3,060 sf physical therapy rehabilitation center with treatment areas, workout space, offices and connectivity to the wellness center expansion. This suite is run by Mary Immaculate Hospital and has its own dedicated entrance which complements the main entrance to the existing YMCA facility.
