Orthopaedic and Spine Center
James River Architects was selected to design the new headquarters of the peninsula’s largest private orthopaedic practice. This project required immediate design response to meet the accelerated schedule of four months from award of design contract to bid date. The complex design features 24 exam rooms, 5 x-ray rooms, MRI, physical therapy and complete support amenities. A two-story waiting area highlights the first floor. As the project is located in Port Warwick, it had to comply with the Architectural Review Board for the development. The design model (see gallery below) was successfully presented to the Client and Architectural Review Board within three weeks of the program acceptance.
